Time for the third installment in the Fashtastic Prom Series, this time we’re looking at some of the top celebrities and their red carpet attire at this years Academy Awards. I thought I’d apply the popular “Get the look” series to this prom feature giving you a suggestion of a similar look as one of your favorite celebrities.

I know my suggestions are not identical to what the celebrity in the picture is wearing, my aim is to give you an outfit “in the style of” the celebrity. Obviously most red carpet dresses are vintage and one-of-a-kind making them nearly impossible for a normal fashionista to, first of all, get her hands on and second, afford! That’s what this nifty feature is here for, to show you that you can get a gorgeous prom dress, in the style of your favorite celebrity, for a very small fraction of the price of their designer vintage dress (even though some of these dresses are quite pricey too!) Who doesn’t want to look like a star on their prom night?
