Once upon a time two flip flop loving guys decided to open up a website selling flip flops. It started out as something for their friends but soon the word spread and one day they ended up having an ad in US weekly. Those two guys are Dave and Emio. I would like to call them professional flip flop men as they have managed to hunt down the most comfortable flip flops in the world. The flip flops were found in Brazil, by a brand called Dupé.

When I first stepped into my new flip flops I could not stop saying “Wow”. I said it so many times that my sister (standing beside me at the time) asked me if she could have a go. I think she was jealous as she sort of gave me a half-smile and admitted they were very comfortable. “Lucky you” she said and then snuck off as if she couldn’t stand looking at them anymore, the jealousy was just overwhelming her. Don’t worry; I’m a nice sister so I’ll let her borrow mine whenever she wants.

I wore my flip flops around the house for a while and then walked in them to my hair appointment. Aside from other flip flops I have tried that always insist on cutting and rubbing between my toes until the skin is red and irritated these flip flops are very comfortable for my feet. One of the first things I noticed was how my feet sink down in the flip flops. They are really soft and this is due to the fact that they are made of Brazilian rubber as opposed to most other flip flops that are made from PVC (a petroleum based plastic).

Aside from what has been stated these flip flops are perfect for both girls and guys. Seeing as they were found and stocked by two men there is no doubt there are some great guy colors available but of course Dave and Emio didn’t forget the girls. They have stocked up on several very nice colors perfect for girls too, even different colored, striped flip flops and flower decorated ones. The solid colors are perfect for matching any outfit and the decorated flip flops are fun for the beach.

Another smart thing to keep in mind is that because these flip flops are made of rubber they can be showered off easy as 1-2-3! So you don’t have to worry about stains and dirty-ness because we all know that’s the last thing you want to have to think about in the summer heat.
