Style A to Zoe

Blame it on my extreme interest in fashion and admiration for Rachel Zoe, but once I had
got my hands on Style A to Zoe I just coulnd’t put this book down! When a renowned stylist
like Rachel Zoe offers her best tips, you best be listening.
I’ve fallen for glossy hard-cover styleguides before but never even made it half way, they
just don’t have that extra little something that makes you want to keep going. With Rachel
Zoe’s glamourguide it was different. This book is not only a guide on how to dress your
best it also gives advice on how to be your best in all aspects of you life. From how to
plan a fabulous party to tips and tricks on how to decorate your home in order to enjoy it
the most.
As one of the leading stylists in the world, I was expecting to get an exclusive guide
through Rachel Zoe’s own closet. Unfortunately, I found myself quite dissapointed. Sure,
there are passages in the book that lead us through descriptions of her wardobe - designer
handbags, accessories and fabulous gowns but the photos were far from enough to satisfy my
needs. Call me selfish, but I wanted more!
Although this 192-page block of fashion is an enjoyable read, none of Rachel’s tips felt
like any type of revolution, most of it is no-brainers. Granted, I live, work and breathe
fashion but let's be realistic! By now we all know not to pair a leopard print dress
with a leopard coat and shoes, no?
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Style A to Zoe, not only does it remind you of those
obvious stylemistakes you don’t want to make, it also allows you to dream your way right
into the fabulous lifestyle of Rachel Zoe.
